Prepare for the "sexual revolution": Sarah Palin will be President of the USA. "The experiment of color" Obama is finished.
Please note that this a translation after the original Romanian version of my post. Since my English has some "gaps", the translation may not be totally accurate.
About all figures (primarily unemployment) that talk about the health of the economy depict a worse situation than when Obama was installed in the White House. 14 million unemployed and a unemployment rate approaching 10 percent, shows a total failure of policies to create jobs, which the
Osama's questionable winding story had the gift of a rise in the polls for Obama, like the terrorist attacks on
On the other hand, there is a need for a suitable opponent for Obama in the 2012 grand final.
I am confident that this opponent will be Sarah Palin. My guess is that the Republican analysts have noticed this and are preparing the ground carefully. And, as can be seen, spectacularly.
Mrs. Palin has a perfect biography to become not a First Lady, but the Oval Office's occupant - the 45th
Born in February 1964, with a mixed ancestry (English, Irish and German), Palin was co-captain and point guard of the basketball team that won the 1982 Alaska state championship, earning the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" for her competitive streak. Two years later he was third in Miss
In December 2006 she established the record for the youngest woman elected as a governor (of
In 2008 she paired the Republican candidate John McCain in the presidential election campaign. Being dragged down by the "cannonball" legacy of the former President GWB, they lost honorably to the Democrat Obama.
Sarah Palin dropped the mandate of the governor in July 2009, to temper the accusations she faced regarding an alleged abusive conduct. Basically, Sarah Palin pressured the Public Safety Commissioner (PSC) of
Elector polls showed the public has welcomed the resignation of Palin. She has not retired from politics - instead, she augmented it with working as a reporter for a reality TV show (Palin has a journalism studies and worked in her youth as a sports reporter). It is true she faced embarrassment when two personalities (among them the country music star Toby Keith), which she was supposed to interview directly, revealed that they were actually interviewed by someone else. On the other hand, she has successfully published her memoir, focusing on her rebellious, atypical behavior, even during the presidential campaign, when she was harshly criticized by McCain's staff.
Palin actively supports the political movement TEA (Enaugh Already Taxed) Party (some say she is paid generously to do so). The Tea Party advocates, as the title suggests, for lowering taxes, along with the reduction in government spending.
Sarah Palin was also involved in the "Pink elephant movement ", through which she supported (with some failures, but also some successes) more women candidates for the positions of governor, receiving acclaim even from political opponents (Democrats).
She was accused of backstage maneuvering during elections in November 2010 that could have been lead to loss of a crucial place in the U.S. Senate, in favor of Democrats. Finally, the fact that her political support has mattered greatly to the success or failure of some of the candidates, made it clear that Sarah Palin will have a decisive role in the preliminary elections set to determine the future Republican opponent for Mr. Obama.
And now, the icing on the cake: the release of e-mails received and sent as governor by Sarah Palin. The release was requested by the American press, in the context of the scandal caused by allegations of unethical conduct that have been made to the former governor of
True, more than 14,000 emails were filtered, 953 not released, and some 2,373 have been released with censored passages. We can agree that something like this needs serious work. But I believe the timing here is striking. Such a media avalanche (weeks in a row will be discussed in the American press about Sarah Palin's emails) will seriously boost the reporter-basketball-flute player in the polls, provided you not see something decisive-compromising (and, again, I believe something like this will not appear).
For now, it's "gossip". For instance, in 2007, said in opening the Washington Post, a member of Palin's staff told her that she should meet with Pete Rouse, who was “chief of staff for some guy named Barack Obama”. A year later, a few weeks before Palin was chosen as a running mate for McCain, she wrote to her aides that Barack Obama "gave a great speech this morn in Michigan—mentioned Alaska,” In a speech in Lansing, Mich., Obama had spoken of the need to complete the Alaska Natural Gas Pipeline, and open more oil and gas drilling in Alaska. “So.... we need to take advantage of this [and] write a statement saying he’s right on.”, concluded Palin.
Another email shows Palin battling the issue raised by the wolf population in
Do you think such "revelations" will shoot down Mrs. Palin or will be only a good kick in the ass for a great leap forward? The question is rhetorical, I admit ...
I will end by saying that Sarah Palin has (or she claim to have) principles that are consistent with the trends of the moment or at least have the power to cause heated disputes: it is a Christian that accepts the evolutionary theory to be taught in public schools as an "accepted principle". Opposes gay marriage. Opposes abortion even when the pregnancy is produced after a rape or incest, and, moreover, believes that pregnant minors must obtain parental consent for abortions. She supports capital punishment. A Life Member of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Palin interprets the Second Amendment as including the right to handgun possession, and opposes bans on semi-automatic assault weapons. It is an enemy of environmentalists, even fighting for oil exploitation in protected areas and declaring herself skeptical about global warming.
